Industrial and commercial floor scrubbers are essential tools for maintaining clean and hygienic environments in factories, shopping malls, and warehouses. However, during daily use, operators may encounter various issues that affect performance. Understanding these common problems and learning how to solve them effectively can extend the machine’s lifespan and improve cleaning efficiency.
1. Machine Not Working
Problem: The machine fails to start or stops suddenly.
Possible Causes:
· The battery has no power or is not properly connected.
· The controller or circuit fuse may be damaged
Solution:
First, check whether the battery is fully charged and that all connections are tight. If the issue persists, inspect the fuses and controller. Damaged components should be replaced by qualified technicians.
2. Brushes or Pads Not Rotating
Problem: The brush motor does not operate.
Possible Causes:
· The brush plate is lifted from the ground.
· The circuit breaker has tripped.
Solution:
Lower the brush plate to the ground and reset the breaker. If the motor still fails to run, the carbon brushes may be worn and need replacement.
3. Weak Suction or Poor Water Recovery
Problem: The machine leaves water or stains on the floor.
Possible Causes:
· The recovery tank is full or the suction hose is blocked.
· The squeegee strip is worn or not properly adjusted.
Solution:
Empty the recovery tank after each use, clean the suction hose, and replace the worn rubber strips. Adjust the angle of the squeegee to maintain full contact with the floor.
4. Insufficient Water Flow
Problem: Water does not flow evenly during cleaning.
Possible Causes:
The solution tank filter or water lines are clogged.
The flow control valve is set too low.
Solution:
Clean the water filter regularly and adjust the water flow knob to the proper level. In cold environments, drain the water tank after use to prevent freezing.
5. Short Battery Life
Problem: The machine runs for a shorter time than usual.
Possible Causes:
Battery aging or incomplete charging cycles.
Solution:
Charge the battery after each operation (at least 30 minutes of use). Avoid long periods without charging. Keep the battery terminals clean and use only the recommended charger.
6. Abnormal Noise or Vibration
Problem: Unusual noise during operation.
Possible Causes:
Debris stuck under the brush or worn parts.
Solution:
Stop the machine immediately, remove foreign objects, and inspect the brush and pad for wear. Replace them if necessary.
