209 Floor Scrubbers for Zhongbai Group: Pinsidun Cleaning Solution for Chain Supermarkets

The customer for this project is Hubei Zhongbai Group, whose Zhongbai Warehousing Foodmart stores are a well-established supermarket chain in Hubei, China.

Many of its stores are located in residential communities and commercial districts, featuring large floor areas, densely arranged aisles, fresh food sections, dry goods areas, storage spaces, and loading zones. These different environments place varying demands on daily floor cleaning.

This project involves a total procurement of 209 floor scrubbers, with deliveries being carried out in batches according to actual store requirements.

The first two batches included:

• First batch: 30 units — 20 XS530B walk-behind floor scrubbers and 10 XJ660 compact ride-on floor scrubbers
• Second batch: 20 units — 15 XS530B units and 5 XJ660 units
• 50 units have been delivered and put into operation, with additional batches to follow according to the project schedule.

Instead of using a single machine for every cleaning task, Pinsidun developed a combined solution based on different working areas.

The XS530B walk-behind floor scrubber is used for narrow aisles between shelves, checkout areas, and fresh food sections, while the XJ660 compact ride-on floor scrubber handles wider main aisles, storage areas, and loading zones.

This creates a practical combination of ride-on cleaning for large areas and walk-behind cleaning for tighter spaces.

1. Cleaning Without Interrupting Business

Supermarkets need to remain clean throughout operating hours. With continuous customer traffic, traditional manual mopping can be inefficient, while residual water on the floor may also increase the risk of slips.

The customer therefore needed cleaning equipment capable of improving efficiency while recovering wastewater during operation.

2. Multiple Types of Dirt and Cleaning Conditions

Different areas of a supermarket present different cleaning challenges.

Fresh food areas may have water and liquid residue, entrances can accumulate mud and sand, dry goods areas may contain small debris, while storage and loading areas can encounter heavier dirt and stains.

A single traditional cleaning method is often unable to efficiently handle all of these conditions.

3. Multiple Stores and Changing Cleaning Staff

With stores located across different parts of Hubei Province, equipment must be easy for cleaning staff to learn and operate.

For larger and more open areas, the XJ660 compact ride-on floor scrubber provides greater cleaning coverage and helps improve productivity in main aisles, storage areas, and other large spaces.Together, the two models allow the customer to assign different machines according to the specific cleaning environment rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

Delivery, Training and On-Site Support

Equipment delivery is only one part of the project.
